Chemical CompoundsCalcium hypochlorite
Other commercial names
Perchlorin, Calcium hypochlorite
It is gray, granular and solid, and has a strong chlorine odor that dissolves in water and alcohol and has high reactivity.
It is a powerful oxidizing agent. This substance is unstable at high temperatures and reacts rapidly with oils and organic matter and is flammable.
Perchlorin slurry is prepared by chemical reaction between chlorine gas with limewater adjacent to sodium hydroxide through a multistage process. By filtration and drying of the slurry, Perchlorin granules are obtained.
Keep away from direct sunlight, flames, sparks, heat sources, flammable materials, corrosive substances, oxidizing and reducing agents , organic materials and fossil fuels in a cool, dry place.
